Accessing Data in Cloud Pak Jupyter Notebooks

So you’ve got Cloud Pak for Data, and you have been busy going through and figuring out what data you have, governing that data, and cataloging that data. Your data-wrangling game is an A+, so now it's time to move forward and get some real insights and value from that data.
Recently I have been working with a customer on doing just this — by building some machine learning models in Jupyter notebooks running out on Cloud Pak for Data. This particular customer had a great concept for what they wanted to do but they were looking for guidance on how to best access the data that was available to them. I decided to give them some help — and it was apparent to me that there could be a lot of other folks out there experiencing the same thing.
Getting the Data Ready
The first step is getting all of your data ready. Your data files and connections are all out there in the catalogs on Cloud Pak for Data. Some are true files, others are virtualized data sets combined from multiple sources…
