This bi-weekly newsletter is compiled by a team of IBM Watson experts (not just me), who are looking to share information on best practices, interesting techniques, educational sources and upcoming news in the world of Watson.
New Capabilities
- The IBM Cloud Shell capability is now available in beta. You can find it by looking at your IBM Cloud console, and clicking on the IBM Cloud shell icon (shown above — it’s the one on the right). You can lean more about this by checking out the beta documentation on the IBM Cloud Shell.
- Watson Assistant now supports an audit capability, using Activity Tracker with LogDNA, for those who want to audit changes and actions taken on Watson Assistant instances. Note that this is only available for Watson Assistant Premium instances. If you’re interested, check out the Activity Tracker with LogDNA Getting Started tutorial.
Watson Blogs and Information
- Is your IBM Cloud account littered with “Pending” users? These are users that you invited to join the IBM Cloud — but they never accepted your invite. Take a look at this shell script which deletes pending accounts from your IBM Cloud account.
- Conversational Assistants and Quality with Watson Assistant — Revisited — a blog by Dan Toczala, covers some best practices on chatbot creation, and a Python notebook for doing analysis and k-fold testing of your Watson Assistant skill.
